Nancy O'Dell's career in broadcasting began as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Later, she was an anchor and morning reporter on WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell on the streets of Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the instances. Ms. O'Dell was honored by The Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Awards to all media South Carolina.
